Embedded within the heterogeneous existing buildings our task was to give the functional new building of the Molecular Biology Research Laboratory MFL with its 1 500 square metres of laboratory space its own structural identity The MFL is fully integrated into the Oncology Campus of the Dresden University Hospital allowing research concepts from the laboratory to find their way extremely quickly and directly into patient care When I joined wörner traxler rich ter at the end of 2015 we were work ing from a site office in Munich My personal milestone is the move to our new location where the Munich team was formed and where the design of our biggest project to date also started the first major new school building by wörner traxler richter and thus also a milestone for the entire company Ralf Löw researching Molecular Biology Research Laboratory Dresden Königsbrunn Nord primary school learning
